Dave Bachinsky.

Dave Bachinsky is a professional skateboarder, woodworker, and visual artist based in Carlsbad, CA. His love for skateboarding began in 1992, when his uncles used a jigsaw to cut down a Santa Cruz skateboard into a mini board.

At the age of 20, City Skateboards presented his debut professional video part "WTF is a Bachinsky," making a name for himself in the world of skateboarding by setting the bar with a kickflip down the El Toro 20 stairs. As a multidisciplinary artist over the past decade, he’s been handcrafting custom projects through his recycled skateboard business, Shapethree.

He has shown his work in group exhibitions throughout the United States as well as London, and Beijing. In 2020, he launched a visual collection called "Roll Forever," featuring videos filmed from a bird's-eye view, observing a skaters' line in a pool and edited to loop indefinitely, as if the pool line never ends.

Through these collections, he's fusing blockchain technology and bridging the collector's experience through his digital art by enabling them to claim his handcrafted recycled skateboard physical projects.
